Geography, Planning & Int. Dev. Studies

On this website, you can find information about the regional and thematic expertise of researchers working at the department of geography, planning and international development studies of the University of Amsterdam. We made this website for MA students looking for fieldwork possibilities in Ghana. However, the website could also be interesting for development practitioners, journalists, researchers from other universities and future students.

We started this website with our Ghana expertise, but it is quite possible to extend it to other countries in which we have bundled expertise (for example Kenya and India). We could also create a website showing the expertise of the whole department (AMIDSt) or just of our research group (LEG - Livelihoods Environment & Governance)
